'Have you ever heard of this plant? The Plants generic name is Water Hyssop. I ran across this plant in my Encylopedia of Herbal Plants. It grows in India and Bangladesh. Please do a search on "Bacosides A and B" and tell me what you think.'

MOD:http://www.interhealthusa.com/faqs/Bacopa_faqs.aspx#howdoesitwork
the problem with web searches is that you don't know who'w paying for them!

'>'Have you ever heard of this plant?

I tried bacopa and did not like one side effect, so I stopped. It made me very easily angered just like mucuna pruriens did when I took that a few years ago. Mucuna is a dopaminergic, and I believe bacopa is also. I attribute the easy anger to increased dopamine. I gave my leftover bacopa to a friend who suffers from restless leg syndrome because I read some opinion that the syndrome can be treated with dopaminergics and she said the symptoms greatly improved. I am going to try bacope again along with l-tryptophan to see if I can balance the increased dopamine with increased serotonin.

Mod: Odd, dopaminergic drugs in general induce pleasure. Most dopaminergic drugs are also adrenergic; that would explain the sensation. Caveat: "balancing" brain chemistry is fraught with hazard. MAL
