Funny, the representative for the company claims the product works but doesn't choose to use it on his own gotee.

I'm 42 and have been taking 600 mg of DMAE per day for about 5 years (in part to counter lipofuscin build up that may result from carnosine consumption). I have very little grey hair, perhaps less than when I started taking it. I can't swear by it, but I'm inclined to think DMAE may somehow spurn the manifestation of melanocyts in hair follicles.

"An Auckland based New Zealander man chronically suffered from Premature Gray Hair and went to hospitals and doctors all over Australia and New Zealand, but to no avail."

Either it's a total scam, or that New Zealander man needs a lot more help than herbals! eyes

Interestingly, Wiki say's Bell's Palsy sufferers "...recover spontaneously and achieve near-normal to normal functions. Many show signs of improvement as early as 10 days after the onset, even without treatment."
So the Pebneton "30 day guarantee" is a pretty sure thing.

As for gray hair remedies, look for that escape clause of "premature" in the ad copy. Middle aged people are most certainly not suffering from "premature" gray hair and can't expect this to be effective.

Amazing - it only took a couple months for some piece of you know what in Texas to come up with a scam to take advantage of the catalase research on grey hair.

Very impressive before and after photos on the site...ooops, they don't have any!!!

Now how would they already know how effective the product is? The catalase discovery was just few months ago.  So this company claims they developed a pill based on the catalase research and gee, within a few weeks time they already know this product halts grey hair.

And of course, it's based on "clinical studies."

Only problem is it would takes months even in a real clinical trial setting to prove that. But since the catalase finding by the UK scientists is only a few months old, these geniuses at this company could whip up a pill in that short time and prove it works to halt grey hair!!

And a second red flag...what kind of an e-commerce business does not even provide an email address on their website?

Gee, do you think their product really works? LOL

I believe this is same ____ty melancor company. They didn't even return money then (they had money back guarantee also). I have to file complain with BBB and they didn't even answered to them. Be beware. This address could also be fake. Melancor had listed their address in LA but there was no such address. BEWARE. BEWARE.

I ordered the Grenical stuff... While I'm waiting for it to arrive here in Italy I tried to ask questions to the company about the money back guarantee, three times.... no answer at all, despite the fact they say they will answer within 24 hours... Now I regret I placed that order.... :O(((((

I also have used the Jocio Renual for 8 months with no change noticed. I honestly wonder if it has worked for anyone.

It seems that Pigneton, Pebneton, Grenical and Reversacor have at least one thing in common – they are all new products developed only a few months ago and are guaranteed to sort out your gray hair problems naturally as long as you continue using them. 2009 must have been a very successful year in gray hair research. I wish it was half as good for hair loss.

As far as Re:Nu age defy serum also known as Re:nual serum is concerned it seems to have a bit more science backing its claims as it was developed by a Japanese cosmetics giant Shiseido and its claims of efficacy do not seem to be as overexaggerated as those for other four mentioned above. However, it is too expensive to my taste and even though it has been around for at least one year now no consumer testimonials seem to be available. This is a good resource for consumer reviews but it only has the editor's review http://www.greyhairloss.com/blog/re-nual.html available at the moment which does not seem overly positive to say the least. This product contains panax ginseng, hops extract and Japanese sansho pepper as its three main ingredients. This keeps me guessing why it is so extremely expensive.

The Detroit-area EXT Life Sciences has an article out about their attempts to seek funding.

This is the company that has a compound cream that they say reverses grey hair.

Unfortunately, they still need a lot of cash and unless their drugs will be classified as a cosmeceutical, we're looking at long FDA trials (several years).  They mention they are working toward FDA trials.

Here's the article:

"FOCUS: UNIVERSITY RESEARCH

WSU researcher targets damaging oxidants in body
By Ryan Beene

As people get older, their bodies show it — wrinkles form, disease becomes more prevalent and the parts simply don't work as well as they once did.

Much of this is caused by the accumulation of oxidants in cells throughout our body, but research conducted at Wayne State University by Dr. Stanley Terlecky, associate professor of pharmacology, could lead to new pharmaceutical treatments to reduce and eliminate the accumulation of oxidants in the body . . .
Terlecky and business partners are gathering funding for their company, EXT Life Sciences, to bring the technology to market in pharmaceuticals and so-called 'cosmaceuticals . . . '”
