How does one go about choosing a "greens" powdered supplement? How do you compare them? Which product is superior - 'Barlean's Greens' or the LEF  offering called 'ProGreens Stick Pack'? Any others you prefer to recommend? Thanks!

colbyhouse, could you further elaborate what is "green" powdered supplement? Do you mean you are looking for supplement which is extracted from 100% natural?

Life Extension will be launching in next months LEF Greens Mix, but its formua is still unknown.

Personally, I like a lot New Chapter brand in greens products, one of best organic supplements brands.

The concept of a green supplement is interesting. However, a company would have to prove that the greens are powdered without the use of enzyme and nutrient-destroying heat. There is only one company that I know of that can claim this. With that being said, nothing substitutes for fresh, raw fruits and vegetables.

Coincidentally I just posted on how difficult i find too to pick up the right "greens" supplement here:  http://forum.lef.org/default.aspx?f=35&m=64775&g=64890#m64890
and fully agree ... by no means this can be a substitute to a variety of vegetables and fruits.

Sorry I overlooked that the topic was discussed here.
