Dietary polyphenols have degradation products that are potent telomerase
inhibitors. Therefore, it makes sense NOT to take them when attempting to
astragaloside IV, cycloastragenol, IGF-1 liposomal spray, or colostrum. A program of 15 days telomerase activation followed by 15 days of telomerase inhibition should run concurrently with 15 days low polyphenols, then 15 days of high polyphenols. Most fruits and plants contain polyphenols. A low polyphenol diet might consist of skim milk, fish, and meat. We need to identify plants whose dietary degration products do NOT include polyphenols. In particular, we would like to include a substantial amount of dietary fiber that does not produce telomerase inhibitors. On the other hand, it seems very desirable to use high levels of antioxidants such as vitamin C and glutathione all of the time, and to keep B-vitamins that inhibit homocysteine and support DNA defense high all of the time. See High and Low Polyphenol Food Links for constructing high and low polyphenol diets.

JIm, would you take a look at the analysis dones by Vince on the issue of telomerase inhibitors and render and opinion? If there is a body of studies indicating inhibition in normal cells, not cancer cells, would you provide citations? http://anti-agingfirewalls.com/2009/06/11/do-resveratrol-curcumin-and-egcg-from-green-tea-really-inhibit-the-expression-of-telomerase/

I read Vince Giuliano's remarks and references and will modify mine after I have looked into it a little more. It may be useful, for instance, to take resveratrol every day, which is what I am hoping for and now somewhat expecting. However, remember that
resveratrol is an activator of SIRT1 and is involved in gene silencing, about like a histone deacetylase might be. Because it is involved in gene silencing, it might interfere with stock telomerase activators. I consider it prudent to segregate known telomerase activators from known telomerase inhibitors in two consecutive 15-day sub-cycles of a 30-day cycle.
Just how resveratrol may interact or collide with other pathways for telomerase activation is unclear to me at this time. Until this is clarified, I will continue to isolate resveratrol into the 2nd part of the cycle, and count it a telomerase inhibitor. If it turns out to be possible to use it profitably all of the time, that would be very good, as 2000 mg/dose can be taken, and it is fairly inexpensive. However, I am unclear about how effective it may be as a telomerase activator, and its reputation as a SIRT1 activator used in gene silencing tends to suggest that it should be isolated from other telomerase activators.  It is not a stock telomerase activator, as I understand it. Perhaps it will turn out to be useful to take large doses of resveratrol in the 2nd part of the cycle and activate telomerase then in healthy cells while inhibiting it in cancer cells, as Vince Giuliano's remarks seem to suggest is a managable option.
I might add that I propose to limit telomerase inhibitors arising from digestive degratation of high polyphenol foods by using low and high polyphenol diets when attempting to activate or inhibit telomerase, respectively.
