Hello. My son who is 10 years old has been diagnosed with pars planitis. This is a condition of vitreous humor (the fluid inside the eyeball) in which inflammation of the part of the eye called the pars planar is inflamed. The inflammation causes cloudiness in the fluid of the eye. I am looking for vitamins and/or nutrients that can reverse this problem. He is having medical treatment but but wanted to also look into alternative means.

Please let me know if anyone has any information to provide.

Thank you.

Sorry you have to deal with this.  It must be a very great concern for you, as it would be for anyone, or for any parent

Try glyconutrients - Food supplements.

And here is some info for doctors

I've been learning about them, and have high hope of help ...

If it is possible that it is an autoimmune issue, so many things are,

Immune problem?  immune system

I would suspect something like this could be cause by exposure  to 2-butoxyethanol.  Gulf war vets (who are exposed to it) and those with CFIDS can have eyesight problems - varied.

They are now looking for vision issues for disability approval. Vision

The group with known exposure is also having an assorted types of vision problems themselves:  the Exxon Valdez oil spill workers.  I have listened to both groups quite a lot and this commonly used chemical does seem to cause eyesight issues.

Very easy to be exposed ... so for sure avoid this chemical exposure for your son.  Worst exposure is vapors in one's eyes.  It is in a lot of cleaning products, paint, etc

Why I learned about 2-butoxyethanol - Blood in urine & small-sized RBCs are clues to its harm
