Hello everyone,

I was diagnosed with Frozen shoulder some months ago. After reviewing the literature on this disorder on the web, it seems I can do very little except stretching exercises and physical therapy. I've also been scheduled for an MRI which I have been considering canceling since I'm pretty certain the diagnosis is correct. Is anyone aware of any other alternative therapies that may help? Thanks in advance for any insight.

I was diagnosed with two frozen shoulders by a rheumatolist and scheduled for physical therapy until hurricane Ike changed everyone's plans. After a four week evacuation I went home...shoulder ok. I used Soothanol from North Star 2-3 times daily and had results right away. Stopped daily use in a week or so. I use when I have a flare of pain/stiffness. It contains a variety of natural ingredients. My husband uses it for old knee injuries. It's our first response for aches and pains. I read recently that sleeping with your arms above your head aggravates our problem and that is true for me. Soothanol is "expensive" but compared to lost time, co-pays and severe pain it's very low cost. A bottle lasts for months. Commercial ended, This is my first post and I hope they let you read this. Ice packs can help.
