I am ecstatic with the results. I am now 68 and I haven't had this kind of vision since I was half this age. I can read, books, newspapers, TV, everything without glasses. They say I am now 20/20. In fact I have an appt. in two hours with my opthalmologist for a final check-up. I didn't pay for anything special just the standard lenses the cost of which is fully covered by medicare and my supplemental insurance. I spent 3 days before each surgery ( they are done separately) putting drops in my eyes and for two weeks after again three different kinds of drops 4X each ED. It tapers down real fast from there. Within 5 weeks after the drops are gone and everything is back to normal. Now I can see my golf ball, enjoy the brilliance of fall colors, see who is on the other side of the swimming pool and is talking to me LOL, and see to drive easily and safely. I am so sorry I waited. I already take several vitamins for eye health such as Taurine, Beta-Alanine, Lutein, Astaxanthin and Zeaxanthin. Due to my megadosing them the docs measured my eye health progress as I improved from 3.25/3.75 (L and R eyes) to 1.25 and 1.75. Now with the cataract surgery added I am young again (my eyesight at least). It did have one drawback, when I went in the bathroom and looked into the mirror I was surprised that my father was standing there looking back at me LOL. | | Back to Top | | |
