Hello all

I am a female 49 years old, I was diagnosed with MPD - Myleofibrosis when I was 29.  I am currently on Hydroxurea and prior to HU I was on Anagrelide and prior Interferon.

I feel GREAT and my platelet count is in the 300,000 range, I get tired but I push myself to keep going, hot flashes at night (but that could be other female issues, had major itching, but when I went back onto Interferon, it immediately subsided)

I am trying to locate other MPD patients in my area (coopersburg, PA or Allentown, PA). I am administered by Dr Ronald Hoffman/Mt Sinai Hospital in New York and locally but Dr Dennis Gianguilio/LV Hospital.  I know that the outlook of this disorder is grim but I wake up every morning like I do not even have it, so I am praying I have beat it.

Let me know if you live in NE PA and maybe we can communicate.

Thanks
Rainey (Lorraine)
