I asked my doctor what would happen if I did nothing about my prostate cancer and he didn't seem to know the answer. It seems they only deal with people who are activley in treatment of some sort so they don't experience the alternative. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this? I am deciding on treatment options and this would help. Thanks.

Lanny,

I would suggest that you contact Dr. Israel Barken and set up a personal consultation regarding your situation. He is not in active practice at this time but acts as a "coach" to men like yourself.

Good Luck,

Ralph

You should be on an anticancer program instead of just waiting like Life Extension's protocol. What about Dr. Mathias Rath's protocol of Vit. C, lysine, proline and EGCG? Also, the Bodwick formula of one tablespoon of flax seed oil mixed with whipped cottage cheese twice a day.

Thanks all for your input. I am on Dr Ludwigs flax oil and cottage cheese diet and have been for nearly 3 yrs. I also tried Nutrition 2000 in the beginning and with the entire protocol my PSA dropped to .35 from 4.65 when biopsied. The only problem was the hormonal imbalance sent me for a loop so I had to stop that. My PSA then started to rise and now sits at 7.35. My doctor is booking me for a Da Vinci surgury on Oct 15th but I feel that I haven't finished trying the alternative route. I'm just plain confused and uncertain. I think I'll take you up on that consultation idea and let you all know what transpires. Thanks again.

Lanny,
Please look into Vitamin D3 supplementation and talk to your Dr about it. UCSD has a lecture about D3 and it may offer you some benefit. Get well

They are achieving REMARKABLE RESULTS using ULTRASOUND treatments for prostrate cancer and many documented reports about this are coming from a large number of reputable institutions. Here a website of one among a very many: http://www.4-men.org/prostate-cancer-treated-with-ultrasound.html ...Syntax Post script: The French Study at that website, cites an 80% prostrate cancer ERADICATION RESULT for the patients involved in that particular study, case history. Similar results from different studies done elsewhere are documented. ...Syntax

I am NOT a doctor. Dr.Syntax was a 19th century humorous literary creation.
